JERRY FENG
CEO
Jerry Feng is a Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering from Harbin Engineering University. He has been involved in the construction and real estate development industry on a global scale for 25 years. Mr. Feng was previously President of Bluesea Homes Ltd. and Bluesea Canada International Investment Ltd. Mr. Feng has successfully developed real estate projects building residences in district C12 and C14 in North York. He was also involved in building two student apartment complexes downtown Toronto near the University of Toronto.
Currently, Mr. Feng is President and CEO of various companies working directly in the real estate industry in Canada. These companies include: CIM Developments Inc., CIM Invests Development Inc. and CIM Global Development LP. He is currently leading his team in three significant real estate projects: Bayview Creek, Mill Creek and Mackenzie Creek with a total investment of $300 million (CAD). The total lot area of these development projects is approximately 26 acres. It includes a total of 500 townhouse units, 600 apartment dwelling units and approximately 130,000 square feet of commercial floor space.
DAN FUOCO, CPA, CA
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Mr. Dan Fuoco is the Chief Financial Officer of CIM International Group Inc. since July 2012. Mr. Fuoco has over 25 years of financial experience dealing with a number of publicly listed and private Canadian and international companies. He obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1986 in the Province of Ontario, Canada. Mr. Fuoco practiced as a Chartered Professional Accountant for 11 years at Deloitte & Touche LLP, the international accounting firm in the downtown Toronto office. He served both Canadian and international clients in the USA, Europe, UK, Japan and Australia and spent time abroad at Deloitte International.
Later, he joined Magna International Inc. as Finance Director Special Projects in the Chairman’s office in Aurora, Ontario for over 11 years working under Frank Stronach. Mr. Fuoco is a graduate of Schulich School of Business in Toronto, Ontario and holds a Bachelor Degree in Business.
ALI SHAFIEI
PRESIDENT OF CIM HOMES INC.
Ali Shafiei as a dual professional held senior positions in residential and industrial commercial institutional (ICI) sector of construction both in Canada and internationally for over 37 years. He has been acting as a general manager and partner in Greater Toronto Area for building more than 500 residential units since 2001. He has been acting as a senior project manager and partner internationally in construction of high rises and heavy civil projects including cement plants, steel plants, and petrochemical plants. Ali Shafiei is an expert in technical and financial management of the residential construction process from conceptual plan, feasibility study, schematic design, development design, bidding process, construction and after sale activities utilizing cutting edge technology and integrated project delivery system. He strives to built well planned, designed, constructed communities by bringing visionary ideas to create sustainable developments. Mr. Shafiei holds BSc and MSc degree in Civil Engineering from University of Wisconsin and Marquette University respectively.
YANFENG CHEN
PRESIDENT
Yanfeng Chen has over 15 years of experience serving as a senior manager and VIP branch president for the Agricultural Bank of China and Merchant Bank of China. He also served more than 12 years as CEO for two large agribusiness companies (Sunner Group and Joysun Group). His experiences include developing and implementing company strategy, planning, and financial capital allocation.
Mr. Chen received his bachelor’s degree from Fujian Agricultural University and received his masters degree from Zhejiang University. He was also a visiting scholar at UC Davis for two years. In 2014, Mr. Chen joined Golden Bridge Development Corp. (TMX-V: GBD) working with GBD CEO Mr. Charles Qin. In 2015, they successfully launched GBD into an investment company adding real estate deals and other investment opportunities.
JOSEPH O. BELL, MBA,CPA
VICE-PRESIDENT OF CIM INTERNATIONAL GROUP INC.
Mr. Bell joined CIM International group in June 2018 as VP. Mr. Bell has more than 15 years of experience in the real estate investment and financing industry. Mr. Bell has held several executive positions with Bank of the west, Lennar Corporation and more recently with one of the most successful and prestigious investment banking firm in NYC, where he served as Vice-President of Finance & Real Estate Funds. Mr. Bell has a broad range of experience across the business with extensive experience in the creation, operation and financial reporting for mutual funds, closed-end funds, and hedge funds. Mr. Bell is a Certified Public Accountant and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree and an MBA from the Telfer School of Management Program at the University of Ottawa.
CHARLES LI , MBA
SENIOR VICE-PRESIDENT OF CIM INVESTMENT INC.
Mr. Li Joined CIM Investment as the Senior Vice President in 2018. He brings his over 15 years of financing and real estate development investment experience to this financing and investment arm of the CIM Group. Mr. Li had been working in KPMG Canada and KPMG China for over 11 years, where he held different senior management positions and led his professional teams facilitating local and cross border investments and business establishments in diversified industries, in China, the US and Canada. Charles obtained his Master of Business Management Degree in Schulich School of Business in Year 2003. Prior to that, Mr. Li served in China Customs for over 11 years in the City of Shenzhen, China.
MEHDI SHAFIEI
VICE PRESIDENT OF CIM INTERNATIONAL GROUP HOLDING INC.
Mehdi Shafiei is a graduate from the University of Toronto with Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science and Engineering. He has over ten years of experience in Project Management, Construction, and Real Estate Development.
He brings leadership and management skills to CIM Development and provides a unique perspective contributing to the company’s growth. He has been involved in various aspects of real estate development including condominium projects, development of town houses, semi -detached family dwellings and single family dwellings units in the GTA and Ottawa regions. Mr. Shafiei has experience working with great builders and developers in Canada such as Delpark Homes and has been involved in projects ranging from $ 5 million to $ 150 million investments. Mr. Shafiei will be leading and managing the projects from concept to completion.
